TRAD FOUNDATION

Product Design    |    Redesign of an extensive website from a regular word press blogpost site

Project Overview

Background

For Trad Foundation—a client I had the opportunity to collaborate with—I designed a desktop view website within the scope that the client was willing to cover.

Throughout this project, I conducted research on the solutions the organization aimed to provide and expanded their content beyond a blog to a fully functional website. My focus was on ensuring accessibility for users while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing design to capture and retain user attention.

The Journey

This project started with secondary research in the form of a  Competitive Audit comparing 2 reputable foundations which are Leap Africa (Direct Competition) and OXFAM (indirect Competition)

- The General Information (Competitor type, Location(s), Product offering, Payments, Website, Business size, Target audience, and Unique value proposition)

- First Impressions (Desktop website experience and App or mobile website experience)

-Interactions (Features, Accessibility, User flow and Navigation)

- Visual Design (Brand Identity)

- Content (Tone and Descriptiveness)
